FREE WILLGO!
McLean, VA – Beginning February 1, 2009, WillGo, Inc. will convert its on-line, searchable “Trailers For Sale” database to a free service.
Since it’s launch in 1997, the www.willgo.com database (previously know as WillGo’s National Trailer Inventory) has been the internet’s largest collection of dry vans, flatbeds and reefers available for sale in North America. Following the “trailer broker” business model, a fee was added to prices provided by listing sellers before posting in the willgo.com database. In keeping with the listing agreement, this fee was payable to WillGo by the seller if, and when, a successful sale was arranged by WillGo with a qualified buyer.
As of January, broker fees will no longer be added to sellers’ listing prices. Instead, listing prices will be displayed exactly as provided by the seller, effectively making the database a free service. In addition, the company name and contact information for the listing seller will appear on the “Spec/Photo” page for each listing, encouraging prospective buyers to contact the seller directly for additional information. No fees will be charged either the seller or the buyer. The marketing and public awareness campaign developed to introduce this new service has been dubbed “FREE WILLGO!”
To qualify for participation in this new service, selling listers must 1.) register at www.willgo.com, 2.) list all groups for sale electronically through the “List Trailers For Sale” link at the WillGo home page, 3.) update their listings at least every 60 days to avoid automatic deletion, and 4.) agree to provide accurate, honest and ethical listings and sales practices for the buyers. In return, listing sellers receive a huge new opportunity for reaching prospective buyers across North America and totally free of charge.
Prospective buyers are also beneficiaries of this new service by having free, 24/7 access to the largest selection of trailers for sale anywhere. Direct access to the contact info of the listing sellers, gives the buyer a less expensive, faster, and more reliable channel for selecting the best equipment for their needs. WillGo’s database search engines are the most comprehensive and buyer-friendly in the industry. In addition, WilGo will continue to provide technical support for website visitors and industry guidance for buyer’s who request assistance.
