As a part of its continuing effort to further streamline its
Internet-assisted truck-trailer sales process, www.willgo.com has added
three powerful new options to its customized database search engines:
"Advanced Search",
"Saved Search" and the
"Saved Search Scheduler".
With these new features, WillGo makes it easier than ever for prospective
buyers to find the best available trailers to fit their needs.
"Advanced Search"
allows prospective buyers to search WillGo’s National Trailer
Inventory (NTI) sales database for unique and defining
specifications like pintle hooks, lift gates or dock levelers.
Previously, advanced level searches for somewhat specialized
trailers were done manually by WillGo on request in order to keep
the website functionality as uncomplicated as possible. Now, the
"Advanced Search" option is readily available to
any WillGo site visitor (registered or not) who has more specific purchase
requirements than can be addressed by the basic dry van, flatbed or
reefer search engines. The "Advanced Search" option
is accessed through a button at the bottom of the basic search query
page.
Example:
If you are looking for 48’ dry vans with pintle hooks, first open
the initial search page by clicking on "Trailers for Sale"
at the WillGo home page. Click on "Dry Vans" opening the
appropriate basic search query page. You may now enter basic search
criteria, or go directly to the "Advanced Search"
page by clicking the button at the bottom right of the query box. If
you chose to enter criteria on the basic search page and then click
on "Advanced Search", the criteria you have
selected will be carried forward to the
"Advanced Search" query page. In either case,
once you are on the "Advanced Search" query page,
finish entering all selection preferences and hit
"View Records" to see the results. Note: As always,
to avoid unnecessary "Failed Search" messages, we encourage
you to enter only the minimum selection criteria you require
so as to not over-spec your query. If your minimal criteria selections
produce too long of a list of options, you can always refine the list by
adding other preferred criteria.
"Saved Search"
is a powerful new innovation available only at www.willgo.com.
With this new tool, registered site users can create up to
(10) different NTI database searches and store them for future
use in their own personal "Saved Searches" file.
By storing and managing your customized searches, you can save
tremendous amounts of time that you would otherwise need to re-create
those searches from scratch for trailers you don’t find on the first try.
Note: In order to save searches, you must first register with www.willgo.com.
This is necessary so that WillGo can create a unique file with your name
in which you can store your searches for future access. Once registered,
run the search you want to save as you would any search beginning with
"Trailers for Sale" "Dry Vans, Flats, or Reefers",
the "Basic Query" Page, "View Records", etc. You can
then save the search by clicking the "Save Search"
link at the bottom of the summary search results page. This link will take
you to a review of the selection criteria you used to run the search.
Here you should modify the criteria as needed, name the search for filing
purposes, and select the search frequency (See "Saved Search
Scheduler" below.) then click on "Save Search" at
the bottom of the page. Your search is now saved.
To access your saved searches, select "Saved Search"
link on the WillGo homepage, then simply click the appropriate link
to "View", "Modify" "Execute", or
"Delete" individual searches as desired. (Note: Before
modifying or running a given saved search, you must first select that
search by clicking on the circle on the extreme left end of the
summary listing for that search.)
To repeat your search in the future for a particularly hard to find
group and/or continuing requirement, you can set WillGo’s unique,
new "Saved Search Scheduler" to automatically e-mail
you your saved searches on a daily, weekly or monthly basis. This
eliminates the need for you to manually run your saved searches each
time you want to check for new listings. Just set it up one time,
and let it run again and again until the right group is found or your
requirements change! You can make this selection when you first set up
the saved search or by modifying the saved search anytime thereafter.
The "Saved Search Scheduler" selection options are
located just below the "Search Name" field at the top of the
"Save Search" or "Modify Search" forms. By leaving
the field blank you are deferring to the "Manual" option and
the search will only be run on your command. By using "Modify
Search", you can change your "Saved Search Scheduler"
settings at anytime.
NOTE: "Saved Search Scheduler" settings automatically
expire after 90 days if not updated by the registered user.
Notification of time remaining in the 90 days is provided with every
scheduled search.
As always, if you have further questions or comments related to
WillGo’s unique search options, you can call (800-933-6167, 703-847-6167)
or e-mail (info@willgo.com), anytime.
